Doing it for the community!

Wow!  Check out Mrs Taylor and her awesome family, sons Tre' and Hayden and her sister Losa doing some fine volunteer work for the community!  Well done!

Can you guess what they were doing with these buckets and why they wore these vests?

What VALUES do you think they were showing?

It's great to see our ex Pomarians using the values out in the community.

Nice work!

Where in the world?

Where in the world is Onemana Beach?

In the weekend my family and I were fortunate enough to stay at a bach across the road from this beach.  We left Auckland at 7:00pm and drove without stopping. We arrived at our destination at around 9:30pm and it was pitch black! We could hear the sounds of the waves rumbling, rolling and crashing onto the beach!
I couldn't wait to go for a swim the next day!

Can you locate this amazing beach on a map?
How long did my trip take approximately?
I went past these towns along the way - Kopu, Thames, Whitianga and stopped before Whangamata.

Middle School Sports!

Look at the awesome response from learners who brought along their sports gear!
Great to see the majority of them wearing their hats too!

Remember we have Sports every Thursday afternoons from 1:15 - 2:00pm
We are joined by Room 4 (Miss Read),  Room 10 (Whaea Sandra) and Room 22 (Mrs Abraham) and rotate each week!

Keep bringing your sports gear Room 7 and remember to change back into your
school uniform before you leave the school gates.
