It's 'Island Time'!

Boy what fun we had learning about Cook Island dancing.
Today we had Mekania (Mrs Sa'u's daughter) come and teach us how to 'Ura' (Cook Island hula).
Mrs Sa'u taught the boys how to do the 'boys' hula.
We danced to both slow and fast drum beats.
Check out some of our experts!

Say "Cheese!"

Check out Peter's 'cheesy' smile!
Today was the first time Room 7 had experienced the taste of 'feta cheese'.
After reading the book 'Dimitri's Lunch' we had questions about what it was and what it tasted like…so Mrs Sa'u brought some to school for the class to try.
Here's what we thought...
The feta cheese was to salty, crumbly and too soft.   I didn't like it.

The feta cheese was yummy, felt oily and the tasted was sour.  (Fareed)

It smells funny, but it tasted funny and yummy.
